It's amazing what a newborn child has to go through to become a part of this world. If you think about the incredible stress that happens to a baby and a mother during the birth process, it's not surprising to see how they can be subluxated, not to mention when something goes wrong! Did you know that the best time to get your spine checked for subluxations is when you're an infant? The nervous system is needed for proper growth and development of children. There are "windows of opportunity" when certain parts of the body and brain grow. If the nervous system is not working when the opportunity arises, it could be missed. So, get them check early!!

Lots of parents ask me, "Why should a child need chiropractic care?" . I just ask them, "How many times did your child fall today, just learning how to walk?" Often, it is at least 5 to 10. How many times in a week, in a month, in a year? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that our children's bodies take a beating at this age not to mention any previous birth trauma. How long do we want to wait to get the problem fixed? Until they're in their thirties or forties, when their nervous system is so deteriorated they have a hard time bending over? Let's fix the problem before it becomes a health hazard!

Vaccinations

Have you read any of the pamphlets that go with your child's vaccinations? There are some eye opening facts in those pamphlets put out by the same people that manufacture those vaccines. The most dangerous of the vaccines is DPT. Did you know that infectious diseases steadily declined for decades prior to vaccinations...and continued to decline at the same rate when they were introduced? In addition, both international and national studies have shown vaccines to be a cause of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and Autism. But what can you do about it? There are options.
